Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), also called Business Social Responsibility is a concept whereby companies on a voluntary basis combine a commitment to social and environmental issues, within the business and the relationships with various stakeholder groups. Responsible business is a strategic, long-term approach, based on the principles of social dialogue, which at the local level, contributes to increasing the competitiveness of enterprises on a global level. Social responsibility is also an increased investment in human resources, environmental protection, relations with the community and search for solutions that will benefit both the company and all parties involved in the process.
Ciech Chemical Group as one of the largest chemical companies in Central and Eastern Europe is an active proponent of the CSR idea. An important element of the Group policy is pursuit to integrate the activities for environmental protection. Environmental care is a priority in building the Group's business strategy, in which the scale of environmental investment and the level of safe production are increased on constant basis.

Particular attention is paid to the education of children and adolescents, especially in the field of environmental protection.
